Welcome to Endless Eden

My name is Bethany Ward, and my work is devoted to guiding individuals and families through life’s most tender transitions. With a background in Unitarian Universalist congregational ministry and as a Burial Steward in the Green Burial movement, I bring warmth and experience to my roles as a Spiritual Director, Death Midwife, Funeral Celebrant, Grief Companion, and Home Funeral Guide.

The sudden loss of my mother in my early 30s left me searching for an end-of-life approach that felt more personal and compassionate. This search led me to Foxfield Preserve, where serving as a Burial Steward taught me the power of presence, reverence, and connection in caring for the dead.

That work deepened my understanding of the sacred threshold between life and death and the importance of holding space with care.

I have been privileged to train with Donna Belk, a leader in conscious death care, Grief Expert David Kessler, and other pioneers in end-of-life support. These teachings have strengthened my commitment to offering compassionate presence through grief care, home funeral guidance, and end-of-life companionship.
